iiSolutions is pleased to announce we are one of the recipients of the Advance Queensland Ignite Grant for the commercialisation and promotion of iiSolutions’ OSP Software (Fieldwize).
What is the Advance Queensland Ignite Grant?
The Advance Queensland Ignite Grant supports Queensland based small to medium business with a high-growth potential to undertake commercialisation of a product that can stimulate the Queensland economy further.
Advance Queensland has recognised iiSolutions’ product as an innovative software that can be utilised by smart cities around the world, stimulating the Queensland economy further and creating more jobs.
What is iiSolutions' OSP software -Fieldwize?
The rise of IoT has made Smart Cities a reality and not just a dream of the future. With many IoT devices used across Smart Cities, it is important to be able to pinpoint connections and map them out.
iiSolutions recognised this problem, and since 2018 has been hard at work developing Fieldwize that helps to map external assets.
This leading edge OSP software module is a new extension to a proven infrastructure management software system – iTRACS. This software tracks the IoT physical locations and allows for the recording of network connectivity in order to manage new smart services and monitor the complex network of fibres that connects technology to infrastructure.
The OSP Smart City infrastructure management software provides organisations with a centralized, physical infrastructure management platform to support the deployment of future smart city initiatives, whilst delivering operational efficiencies and savings.
What advantages does Fieldwize provide users?
Fieldwize provides the following significant advantages for asset managers
- Simplifies the recording and operational management of external fibre/copper cables and network pathways
- Supports the deployment of smart technologies for real-time monitoring, providing safer environments for communities
- Allows concurrent, multi-user access to the network’s records using computers or smart phones/tablets
- Improves performance of infrastructure utilisation for multiple sites across large geographical areas
- Makes it easy to aggregate and collect accurate information for management reporting and decision making
- Pre-planning connections enables organisations to better manage install budgets, allows expenditure to be forecast and identifies required patches or splices for a new service
Looking to the future...
iiSolutions are currently in partnership with the City of Gold Coast, where we have successfully deployed and integrated Fieldwize into their asset management portfolio. Since the implementation, our Fieldwize Software has demonstrated positive outcomes.
With this grant, iiSolutions is excited about the opportunity to continue to develop our software and promote it to more cities that will benefit from this state-of-the-art software.
